Profile & Story
Lo Zio Vino is the project of winemaker Evan Kretmar; the name and label honour his late dog. Zampe Bianche is 100% Cortese from the Lombardy/Piedmont border (Torrazza Coste), skin-macerated for 12 days, then refined 6 months in acacia barrels and 7 months in bottle, with no added sulfur.
Tasting Notes
Bright, lively aromas of white flowers, limestone and tangerine; a palate of stone fruits (apricot, peach, mango) with a hint of limestone and a long, playful almond finish.
Pairing Recommendation
Light fish, seafood pasta, or as an aperitif.
