Profile & Story
Montemelino is a family-run organic farm above Lake Trasimeno in northern Umbria, established in 1961 by Margret Etten Cantarelli and now run by her daughter Sabina. Malpasso is their everyday Sangiovese, fermented with native yeasts in cement and given only a very light filtration and minimal added sulfur.
