Bodega Pablo Fallabrino is a small family winery in Atlantida, Uruguay, with Italian winemaking roots. 'Alcyone' is a 100% Tannat dessert wine from a 2.5-hectare vineyard, made in a combination of Chinato and Marsala methods with roots and herbs, fortified with brandy, aged 12 months in used French oak and bottled unfiltered.
Tasting Notes
All about melted dark chocolate, dark nuts and coffee beans; extremely sweet and syrupy, showing chocolate fudge, brownie and pecan.
Pairing Recommendation
Wonderful paired with fondant au chocolat or brownies; best enjoyed now, in small sips.
