Famille Paquet farms around 30 hectares across some 50 plots near Davaye, at the foot of the Solutre and Vergisson cliffs in the Maconnais. Founded in 1980 by Jocelyne and Michel Paquet as Domaine des Valanges, the estate passed to their three sons - Camille, Mathieu and Jean-Baptiste - in 2016, who farm organically (certified from the 2021 vintage) and biodynamically.
Tasting Notes
Mineral-driven and clean, with no apparent oak but plenty of weight: ripe and lightly herbaceous, kept taut by bright citrus and a touch of tropical fruit.
