Profile & Story
Cantine Polvanera farms organically in Gioia del Colle, Puglia, on red, iron-rich soil over limestone bedrock, using cordon-spur trained vines. This sparkling rosé is made from 100% Primitivo, harvested in the last week of August, softly pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks via the Charmat method, at 12% ABV.
Tasting Notes
A brilliant coral pink with a lively, frenzied perlage. The nose offers perfumes of strawberry, cherry, rose petal and mandarin. The palate is a full, saline sip, charming and coherent, closing with a pleasant bitterness.
