Profile & Story

The 2021 vintage was affected by a generally mild winter, with temperatures rarely falling below zero. There was also little rainfall, which only intensified towards the end of the winter season. From a phenological point of view, having observed early development of plant activity, pruning was delayed inorder to slow down budding. This ensured the protection of the buds when there was a significant drop in temperatures in April. May saw some rain, which helped to restore water reserves. June and July were generally hot and dry, with rains at the end of August lowering temperatures and allowing for slow and optimal ripening.

Tasting Notes

It shows a ruby red color. On the nose fragrant notes of ripe red fruit are layered with floral nuances and faint hints of blood orange, joining with spicy notes that define the complexity of Aminta Brunello with decisive strokes. The palate is succulent and vibrant, marked by savory tannins supported by excellent freshness. The finish is long and persistent, characterized by fruity and spicy aromas
