Profile & Story
The Feliz bottling comes from the Anderson Valley Estate's Feliz soil block, a fine, well-draining, dark loam along the Navarro River that the estate says lends its Chardonnay fresh vibrancy and minerality. Producer's growing-season note (2021 vintage): an extreme, low-yielding drought vintage with mild spring and summer conditions let the fruit ripen slowly, concentrating aroma and flavor while keeping acidity high.
Tasting Notes
“Pale yellow green in color. The nose is delicate and vibrant and dancing between floral (jasmine, honeysuckle), just ripe white fruit (apricot, pear) and gentle spice notes (clove). It is saline and vivacious.
