Domaine Olga Raffault has been making wine in Chinon for five generations, working from the Loire village of Savigny-en-Véron. Les Peuilles is named for its lieu-dit just south of Beaumont-en-Véron, near the Vienne river, on a gently south-facing plateau of clay and flint soils; wines from this site tend to show more intensity and evolve further than the estate's lighter bottlings. The domaine's reds are made from Cabernet Franc.
