Arnot-Roberts, founded by Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts, focuses on site-driven, minimal-intervention wines. The winery began working with Gamay in 2011 from high-elevation Sierra Foothills sites such as Witters (3,300 ft) and Barsotti (2,800 ft) vineyards, partially using carbonic maceration to build spice-driven aromatics and freshness.
