Ca' del Bosco, founded in 1969 in Erbusco, farms 240 certified-organic hectares across Franciacorta. Cuvee Prestige Edizione blends roughly 80% Chardonnay, 17% Pinot Nero and the balance Pinot Bianco, about 88% from the current vintage topped with reserve wines from the two prior years, matured at least 25 months on the lees before a low, 1.5 g/L dosage; alcohol runs about 12.5%.
Tasting Notes
Franciacorta of this blend typically pours pale straw-gold with a fine, persistent mousse, showing baked-apple and brioche notes from extended lees aging alongside citrus freshness and a dry, well-balanced finish.
