Braida is a Piedmont estate founded in 1967 by Giacomo Bologna, whose nickname “Braida” — taken from a pallapugno (Piedmontese handball) champion — gave the winery its name; the family has produced Brachetto d'Acqui since the estate's founding.
Tasting Notes
Light ruby red with purple highlights, lively froth and persistent perlage. A vigorous, fragrant, aromatic nose of ripe red fruit and withered rose leads to a sweet, smooth, delicately sparkling palate with lingering aromatic persistence.
