Taylor Fladgate, founded in 1692 and based in Vila Nova de Gaia on the Douro, is one of the oldest and most historic Port houses, especially respected for aged tawny Ports. The 20 Year Old is fully matured in seasoned oak casks holding about 630 litres each, blended from wines of average 20 years' cask age.
Tasting Notes
A classic aged tawny: amber-mahogany in color, with notes of dried fig, walnut and caramel typical of extended barrel maturation, silky texture and a long, warming finish.
