Profile & Story
Murgo has been producing wine on Mount Etna since 1860, with its Tenuta San Michele estate on the volcano's slopes in Sicily. This Etna Bianco blends Carricante (70 percent) and Catarratto Bianco (30 percent), a combination the producer says improves fullness, complexity and the balance of acidity, with mineral sensations that come from the volcanic soil; it is fermented and aged in stainless steel.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with delicate green notes. The bouquet is floral - broom, chamomile and white flowers - delicate and persistent, while the palate is savory, harmonious and fine, with good persistence and intensity.
