Tenuta di Tavignano lies at Cingoli (Macerata) in Italy's Marche region, in a historic area where Verdicchio has been cultivated for centuries. Villa Torre is a Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore made from 100 percent Verdicchio; it is fresh and easy-drinking yet juicy, medium-bodied and fairly long.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. The aroma recalls fresh fruit, green apple and exotic fruits, with hints of broom flowers, hay and sweet almond; the palate is typical of Verdicchio, with a slightly bitter aftertaste, good juiciness and roundness, finishing on toasted almond notes.
