Joostenberg is a fifth-generation family estate in the Muldersvlei district on the south-western edge of Paarl, in South Africa's Western Cape, farming its vineyards organically alongside a deli, butchery, bistro, and events venue. The Family Blend began as a wine made simply for family and friends and has become a fixture at Joostenberg gatherings; the 2022 vintage blends predominantly Shiraz with Mourvedre, Cinsault, Touriga Nacional, and a small amount of Viognier, made with minimal intervention to reflect the estate's terroir.
