Profile & Story
Nancy and John Lasseter fell in love with wine after moving to Sonoma Valley in 1993, eventually buying a historic winery and vineyard in Glen Ellen founded by a French winemaker in 1894. They farm organically and have restored the property with beehives, owl boxes and insectaries. Los Guilicos Estate Vineyard, just north of the winery, is their dedicated site for Sauvignon Blanc. The current release, 2023 Sauvignon Blanc 'Zut Alors,' is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Los Guilicos, made from the Peter Michael, Musque and Clone 1 selections.
Tasting Notes
Pale straw in color, with aromas of key lime, grapefruit and white flowers. The palate is bright and flinty, with green apple, mandarin orange and citrus. 92 points, Jeb Dunnuck.
