Picayune Cellars is a négociant-style Napa winery founded in 2011 by Claire Ducrocq Weinkauf and Jennifer Roberts, built on a shared passion for excellent wine at an accessible price point. Following the classic French négociant model, Picayune sources small lots from trusted vineyard and winemaker relationships across Napa, Sonoma, and Lake County; confidentiality agreements with these growers mean exact vineyard sources cannot be disclosed. This 2023 Pinot Noir is sourced from cool, windy sites along the Sonoma Coast AVA, one of California's oldest viticultural regions, with only about 2,000 vineyard acres and fewer than 10 wineries. Alcohol 13.1%; production 376 cases.
