Domaine Benoit Cantin is a family estate in Irancy, in the northern reaches of Burgundy's Yonne department, run by Benoit Cantin since 1994 with the continued support of his father Bernard. This Irancy Rouge is made almost exclusively from Pinot Noir, with occasional traces of the local Cesar grape, vatted for 10 to 15 days in temperature-controlled tanks and aged for a year in barrels of varying ages.
Tasting Notes
Deep, fruity, and elegant, the wine shows a subtlety of red fruits that turns tender and pleasant with air, developing notes of red fruit and morello cherry as it ages; it is built to drink anywhere from 2 to 20 years depending on the vintage.

Recommended with meats and cheeses, and, once more mature, with game.
