Profile & Story
Clos Venturi is a 25-hectare estate in the mountainous interior of Corsica near Ponte Leccia, founded by Manu Venturi in 2005 as an offshoot of his father Jean-Marc's historic Domaine Vico (established 1901). The estate farms organically and biodynamically - Corsica's first High Environmental Value-certified vineyard in 2015 and Demeter-certified since 2020 - using horses for plowing, sheep for natural weed control, and bees and chickens to sustain a self-contained ecosystem. The '1769' Blanc is made from 100% Vermentinu grown on 45-year-old vines on south- and southeast-facing sandstone slopes at the base of the estate.
Tasting Notes
Fermented with native yeasts after a short skin contact, the wine ages six months on its fine lees in stainless steel with regular batonnage before light filtration, a process that highlights the mineral precision and Mediterranean freshness characteristic of Corsican Vermentinu.

Its bright acidity and saline minerality make it a natural match for Mediterranean seafood, grilled fish, and fresh goat cheese.
