Champagne Pertois-Moriset is an independent, family-run house in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, founded in 1951 through the marriage of Yves Pertois and Janine Moriset, children of two winemaking families in the Cote des Blancs; the estate is now run by their granddaughter Cecile and her husband Vincent, the fourth generation at the helm. The 20.7-hectare property farms two terroirs - 13.4 hectares of Grand Cru Chardonnay in the Cote des Blancs, and 7.3 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the Coteaux Sezannais - while limiting chemical inputs, practicing sexual confusion in the vines, and working the soil with a 100% electric tractor. Les Quatre Terroirs is a Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru sourced exclusively from Chardonnay grown across the four Grand Cru villages of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant, and Chouilly.
