Profile & Story

Cornarea is a family-run winery in Canale, in the heart of the Roero, and was the first estate to invest in saving the Arneis grape after it had nearly disappeared by the early 1970s. This Roero Arneis DOCG grows on sandy, clay-rich soils around 280 meters of elevation.

Tasting Notes

A bright straw-yellow color introduces an intense, elegant nose of white flowers, pear, peach, pineapple and passion fruit; the palate is full-bodied and well-structured, with lively freshness and a long, mineral-driven finish.
