Fabrizio Vella farms certified-organic vineyards just outside Marsala, in western Sicily. This Catarratto is wild-fermented in acacia barrels with five days of skin contact, then aged in steel and bottled unfiltered with minimal added sulfur.
Tasting Notes
A brilliant straw-yellow color introduces crisp apple aromas, with a textured, richly flavored palate of round orchard fruit, candied orange zest and wild herbs, tangy with notes of marmalade and ginger.
