Latium Morini Valpolicella Ripasso

Ilatium Morini (commonly known as Latium Morini) is run by an extended family of seven members with vineyards in Soave and Valpolicella, north of Verona. From the 1960s until 2000 the family sold its grapes to a local cooperative before building its own winery to make wine under its own name. This Valpolicella Ripasso is made primarily from Corvina (about 70%), with Rondinella, Molinara, Croatina and Oseleta, re-passed over the lees and skins of the estate's Amarone for a second fermentation that adds color, flavor and alcohol, then aged twelve months in French and American oak.
