Montevetrano Fiano, Greco 'Core Bianco'

Montevetrano released 'Core' in 2011 to mark the estate's 20th anniversary -- the name means 'heart' in Neapolitan dialect. The Bianco is an equal blend of Fiano and Greco from the Sannio area of Benevento province in Campania; the two varieties are cold-macerated and fermented separately, since they ripen at different rates, then blended and aged on the fine lees for seven to eight months with weekly stirring.
