Profile & Story

Movia is a historic estate dating to the early 18th century, in the hands of the Kristančič family since 1820. Straddling the border between Slovenia's Goriška Brda and Italy's Collio, the estate farms 22 hectares split across both countries, working according to biodynamic principles since 1989 and fully certified since 2005 under Aleš Kristančič's uncompromising, minimal-intervention approach. This Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on marl-rich slopes on the Slovenian side, hand-harvested and farmed organically.
