Laxas 2024
2024, Rías Baixas, Spain
Profile & Story
Albariño Laxas 2024 is produced by Bodegas As Laxas in the Condado del Tea sub-region of D.O. Rías Baixas, Spain. After an ideal growing season—with light rains in August followed by a dry, balanced September—perfectly ripened grapes were harvested. The wine is made from meticulously pressed grapes to produce a high-quality must, which is fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 18°C. After fermentation, the wine is decanted, blended (coupage), cold stabilized, filtered, and bottled using a microbe-free process to ensure bottle stability. It has an alcohol content of 12.5%, total acidity of 5.8 g/L, and residual sugar of 1.2 g/L. Ideal serving temperature is between 9°C and 12°C.
