Pazo Cilleiro Albariño 2022 is a white wine crafted from 100% Albariño grapes, sourced from small vineyards in the Salnés Valley, the heart of D.O. Rías Baixas. These vineyards, with vines aged 20–25 years, are rooted in granitic soils rich in quartz and sandy in texture. The region’s Atlantic climate, characterized by moderate temperatures and abundant rainfall, creates ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality Albariño. The 2022 vintage benefited from a balanced growing season, producing a harvest of outstanding quality grapes. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats over 14 days to preserve its vibrant and aromatic profile. Post-fermentation, the wine rests in the bottle for an average of two months before release to ensure balance and complexity. Alcohol content is 12.5%, highlighting the varietal’s bright and fresh character.
