Caymus Vineyards is a family-owned winery in Rutherford, Napa Valley, founded in 1972 by Chuck Wagner and his parents, Lorna and Charlie Wagner Sr., who began with 240 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon. Five decades later the winery remains entirely family-owned and run, with the next generation of Wagners, Charlie and Jenny, continuing the farming and winemaking traditions their grandparents started. The 2022 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 50th Anniversary bottling is a limited release crafted from Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon to commemorate the winery's founding year, marking fifty years since that first 1972 vintage.
