Chartron et Trébuchet is a Burgundy négociant house founded in 1984 in Puligny-Montrachet by vineyard owner Jean-René Chartron and wine merchant Louis Trébuchet, based in the Côte de Beaune's so-called Golden Triangle of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. The house built its reputation on white Burgundy and describes its approach as a modern take on winegrowing and winemaking that respects its heritage, working the region's best terroirs with patient, precise vinification; it has since expanded into reds and Crémant de Bourgogne, exporting to more than 20 countries. This Bourgogne Chardonnay is their entry-level regional white from the Côte de Beaune, made in the same Chardonnay-focused style for which the house is known at the premier cru and grand cru level.
