Domaine La Croix Saint-Laurent is a small family estate in Bué, just west of Sancerre in France's Loire Valley, farmed by the Cirotte family (Joël and Sylvie Cirotte) since 1932 on land held by the Migeon and Crochet families since the 16th century. The property is planted mostly to Sauvignon Blanc on calcareous marl and flint soils, is Terra Vitis and HVE3 certified, farmed with reduced chemical inputs, hand-harvested, and, since 2018, vinified without added sulfur. Sancerre is one of the Loire Valley's benchmark appellations for Sauvignon Blanc, prized for wines with bright citrus and mineral character shaped by its Kimmeridgian marl and flint terroirs. In that context, this Sancerre Blanc, from vines averaging 35–43 years old, can be expected to show the crisp, terroir-driven style typical of the appellation.
