Lapis Luna, whose name means "stone" and "moon," was established in 1999 as a California wine brand now under WarRoom Cellars, led by winemaker Nicole Walsh, who brings more than 25 years of viticulture and winemaking experience. The label artwork is drawn from 17th-century copperplate engravings in Herman Hugo's 1624 "Pia Desideria," each depicting a faceless hero on a journey to "reach for the moon," reflecting the brand's stated mission of producing fresh, vibrant, true-to-varietal wines with balanced acidity and structure meant for everyday drinking. This Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from California vineyards and made in that same true-to-varietal house style.
