My Favorite Neighbor is a Paso Robles winery founded by two friends and winemaking partners built around a spirit of community, collaborating with neighboring growers to source high-quality farmed fruit with minimal intervention. Based on Anderson Road in Paso Robles, California, and part of the Daou Family Estates portfolio, the winery centers its work on people, community, and the moments wine helps create. The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon, the winery's flagship release, is sourced from vineyard sites across Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, and Edna Valley and honors winemaker Stephan Asseo of L'Aventure as well as the growers who supply the fruit. On the nose it offers effusive aromas of raspberry and currant alongside notes of blue fruit and purple flowers, while the palate shows juicy red fruit interwoven with black cherry, cinnamon, and toasted oak, framed by structured tannins and a long, chewy finish.
