Santa Julia, part of Familia Zuccardi, is based in Maipú, Mendoza, Argentina, and describes itself as "a big family with a grand passion for our land, our grapes, and our wines," built around firm commitments to wine quality, workforce care and environmental stewardship, including 400 hectares of certified organic vineyards. Mendoza's Maipú area, at the foot of the Andes, is one of Argentina's classic zones for growing Malbec, benefiting from high-altitude sun, cool nights and well-drained alluvial soils. The Santa Julia Malbec is produced from Malbec grapes grown in this Mendoza terroir, in keeping with the fresh, fruit-forward, varietally expressive style that defines Santa Julia's wines.
