About the Wine

Our goal is to introduce limited batches of authentic wines with an artistic presentation. My name is Gnel Garibyan, artist and creator of Lilar Wines. My daughters, Lilith and Arpi, were the muses behind the creation of my brand, and the portmanteau of their names birthed Lilar. My interest went further into actually experimenting with wine-making at my home in Los Angeles, CA. Through countless hours of work, often sourcing grapes from regions of northern and central California, my passion for wine-making grew exponentially. From pressing grapes to wine-tasting parties, my closest friends and family pushed me to strive for success. My passion for art and wine aroused my creativity, both sketched and pressed. As a professionally trained artist, I incorporate my love for art into each wine I produce by hand-sketching my labels with a theme that represents my vision so that I can make the drinker feel a unique experience with each glass.
