Profile & Story

Escorihuela Gascon is one of Mendoza's oldest wineries, founded in 1884 by Spanish immigrant Miguel Escorihuela Gascon and credited with bottling Argentina's first varietal Malbec. This line is the estate's representative expression of Mendoza Malbec, grown in the Agrelo district and aged in a mix of French and American oak.

Tasting Notes

Bright, intense ruby red with purplish highlights. Blackberry, cranberry and plum lead the nose alongside spicy, toasted oak notes, opening onto a juicy palate with smooth tannins and a long, fruity finish.
