Profile & Story

Macari Vineyards is a third-generation, biodynamically farmed family estate on the North Fork of Long Island. Collina -- Italian for 'hill' -- takes its name from the Mattituck Hills, the sand bluffs above Long Island Sound that shape the farm, and is fermented in steel to keep the fruit bright and direct.

Tasting Notes

Garnet in color, with raspberry and cherry aromas. Medium-bodied and velvety on the palate, with balanced acidity and flavors of plum, chocolate, clove and vanilla leading to a long, fruity finish.
