Profile & Story

Domaine Laroche, long established in Chablis, brought its Burgundian winemaking sensibility south to the Languedoc in the 1990s with Mas La Chevaliere, near Beziers. Drawing on high-altitude, limestone vineyard sites across the region, the estate aims for Chardonnay defined by precision, elegance and freshness.

Tasting Notes

Bright gold in the glass, with white-fleshed fruit and citrus on the nose. Fresh and fruity on the palate, with lifted pear and green apple, fine purity of fruit, and a saline finish.
