Profile & Story
Celler Piñol has been farmed by the Piñol family since the early twentieth century in DO Terra Alta, in the Catalan highlands of Tarragona. Raig de Raïm ('the gleam of the grape' in Catalan) is a single-varietal, organically grown Grenache Blanc from the Portalet vineyard in Batea, at 400 meters on limestone soils, unblended and unoaked.
Tasting Notes
A youthful white with a pale lemon hue, enticingly aromatic with yellow apple, Bosc pear, and tropical pineapple, floral notes of acacia, and herbal wild thyme and rosemary; round in the mouth with well-balanced acidity and a lingering finish.
