Domaine Les Chesnaies was created in 1987 by Béatrice and Pascal Lambert at their estate in Cravant-les-Coteaux, on the edge of Chinon, where they farm about 17 hectares of Cabernet Franc (for red and rosé) and Chenin Blanc (for white). The estate has farmed organically for nearly twenty years and biodynamically since 2005, working without chemicals. Cuvée Mathilde is a 100% Cabernet Franc rosé drawn from multiple parcels of vines aged 10 to 50 years.
