Profile & Story

Maçanita Vinhos was founded in 2010 by siblings Joana and António Maçanita in the Douro, now producing around 80,000 bottles a year across red, white, and rosé wines. This rosé is a pure Touriga Nacional sourced from some of the highest-elevation Touriga in the Douro, chosen for its bright acidity and tension alongside the grape's floral, mineral character.

Tasting Notes

Fresh crushed strawberries, bing cherries, and cherry blossom on the nose; juicy and fresh on the palate, with sour bing cherry adding tart brightness, texture, and a touch of white pepper spice.
