Morgado da Vila is a brand of Quinta da Lixa, a family winery founded by the Meireles family in 1986 in Lixa, in the Vinho Verde region, who bought the Quinta da Lixa vineyard six years later and invested in a new winery in 1994. This 'Private Collection' bottling is a 100% Avesso given a period of skin maceration.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of dried apricot, orange peel, and grapefruit with subtle honey; herbal undertones and a lovely textured mouthfeel on the palate, with stone fruits like peach and nectarine, some earthiness, and notes of tea leaves.
