Listed on some restaurant menus as 'La Colina,' this wine corresponds to Il Palazzone's NV Rosso del Palazzone. Il Palazzone is a boutique estate just outside Montalcino producing Brunello di Montalcino in a traditional style from three separate vineyard areas; Rosso del Palazzone is the estate's versatile, 100% Sangiovese non-vintage wine, made for over fifteen years as a byproduct of the Brunello selection process — the best lots are set aside for Brunello, and what remains is assembled into this more playful bottling. The current release (Lot 01/25) blends Sangiovese from the 2024, 2023 and 2022 vintages.
