Quinta do Infantado, founded in 1816 in the Gontelho subdistrict of Pinhão and estate-bottled by the Roseira family since 1979, first released a White Porto in 1983 — a rarity among Douro producers, most of whom focus on red Port. The wine is made from Class A parcels planted with Gouveio, Rabigato, Viosinho, and Moscatel Galego, drawn exclusively from some of the estate's top vineyard plots.
Tasting Notes
Dry-leaning white Ports from the Douro of this kind are typically pale gold to amber in color, with a nutty, slightly oxidative character underpinned by dried citrus peel and honeyed notes; the palate stays crisp rather than sweet, finishing clean and saline — a style built for serving chilled or long over ice.

The estate's own suggested serve is the "Portonic": one part Quinta do Infantado White Port to one part tonic water, poured over ice with a garnish of lemon and mint.
