Grounded is the California label of Josh Phelps, son of Napa vintner Joseph Phelps, built on relationships with growers up and down the West Coast. The Cabernet Sauvignon draws fruit from the North and Central Coast interior valleys, rounded out with small amounts of Merlot, Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of black cherry, cassis and licorice lead into a palate of ripe blackberry, dusty cocoa and sweet oak, framed by a silky texture.
