Bellingham is a South African wine estate founded in Franschhoek in 1693, shaped into a modern brand after Bernard and Fredagh Podlashuk acquired it in 1943. The 2021 Old Vine Chenin Blanc (WO Coastal Region) draws from old bush vines planted 1971-1983 across Durbanville and Bottelary-Stellenbosch, fermented naturally in a mix of foudre, concrete, amphora and 30% new French oak, with about 10 months of battonage. Alc 13.6%, RS 3.8 g/L.
