Chappellet is a pioneering Napa Valley mountain winery founded in 1967 by Donn and Molly Chappellet on Pritchard Hill, above Lake Hennessey. Mountain Cuvee, the estate's Proprietor's Blend, draws on more than five decades of mountain-grown fruit from Pritchard Hill Estate, Stagecoach, Broken Rock, Sugarloaf and Murray Ranch vineyards. The 2022 is a Bordeaux-style blend of roughly 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot, 14% Merlot, 12% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Franc, built for near-term enjoyment while retaining the structure to age up to a decade.
