Profile & Story
Lamberti, named for one of Verona's oldest noble families, was founded in 1964 in Cavaion Veronese near Lake Garda, originally producing Bardolino Classico before growing into one of the leading wine estates in the Verona district. This Prosecco DOC Extra Dry, made by winemaker Maricarmen Navas, is produced via the Charmat (tank) method from Glera grapes harvested slightly underripe from hillside vineyards across Treviso in the Veneto to preserve acidity. Imported to the US by Frederick Wildman & Sons.
Tasting Notes
Producer's own tasting note: pale straw yellow with a fine, persistent perlage; pleasant and aromatic on the nose with delicate notes of apple, honeydew and pear.
