Le Clos du Caillou is a historic estate in Courthezon, farming 44 hectares in Cotes du Rhone and 9 hectares in Chateauneuf-du-Pape; acquired by the Pouizin family in 1956, the domaine has practiced biodynamic viticulture since 2003 (certified organic since 2010). The Cotes du Rhone bottling is a Grenache-led blend from vieilles vignes, grown on the estate's sandy, pebbly soils.

Producer tasting notes describe a generous, fruit-forward Cotes du Rhone with ripe red-berry character, garrigue spice, and the supple, sun-drenched warmth typical of the appellation's biodynamically farmed old-vine cuvees.
