Maison Pierre Sparr, founded in 1680 and based in Sigolsheim/Beblenheim, Alsace, was among the first houses in the region to estate-bottle its wines; it is imported to the US by Wilson Daniels. This Cremant d'Alsace Brut Rose is 100% Pinot Noir from hand-harvested, non-irrigated vines averaging 23 years old at 200-400m elevation on east/south-facing slopes, made in the traditional method with a minimum 18 months aging on the lees before disgorgement; 12% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Producer's own tasting note: salmon-pink color with fresh aromas of soft red berries, predominantly strawberry and raspberry, round and fruity on the palate with lively acidity. Wine Enthusiast scored it 93 points.
