Profile & Story
The Royal Tokaji Wine Company was founded in 1990, among the first wineries to revive Tokaj's dessert-wine tradition after Communism, and is now part of Hungary's largest premium wine estate with vineyards across the Tokaj region's top classified sites. Late Harvest is Royal Tokaji's entry into the region's sweet wines, a blend of Furmint, Harslevelu and Sarga Muskotaly (roughly 47%/26%/20%, plus other native varieties) picked in late-season passes for concentrated, botrytis-touched fruit.
Tasting Notes
Producer tasting notes: tropical fruit, apricot, ripe orange and botrytis character dominate the nose, with a rich, honeyed sweetness balanced by the variety's characteristic acidity on the palate.
